- Description: The mission of Biology Investigation and Outreach (BIO) is to: 1. Provide science education and events for Portland State University and the community. 2. Organize social activities for the benefit of fostering communication among Portland State University students interested in the biological sciences. 3. Increase visibility of Portland State University students to the scientific community and the Portland community. 4. Serve as a route of communication between the PSU student body and the Biology department faculty.

Membership Criteria:
Membership is open to all members of the PSU student body. Students may request membership on OrgSync and/or Facebook ("BIO PSU"). Active members are those who have attended at least one BIO meeting or event for the academic year and receive BIO communications (via OrgSync, Facebook, and/or the Biology graduate and undergraduate listservs).
